Geilo
We will be skiing in Geilo, which is a classic Norwegian ski resort, and Jakob's "home mountain". Winter here is truly a winter wonderland.
Why Geilo?
It might be cold, yes. And the slopes are not long, also true.
But...
The slopes in Geilo are a true gem for carving training. Long enough (+8 turns) consistent sections at various pitches – perfect for training runs.
There is a high likely hood of great hero snow on empty slopes – ideal for carving!

Meet your coaches
Jakob and Janus are a unique coaching duo in skiing, overlapping and supplementing each other.
Both have contagious love and excitement for skiing, and they have built their life around ski improvement and helping other people succeed with their skiing goals.

Having Jakob ski in front of you will have you go for it! and explore new carving territory. You will get all the secrets from the horses own mouth and get his inputs to how you can best progress.

With Janus you will dive into the technical details and practice specific movements for the different parts of the turn to build the skills needed for this type of skiing. You will get the inspiring and engaging presentation and clear explanation you know from the Inspirational Skiing's YouTube channel.

On the Golden Carving Camp we use Carv as a natural part of our coaching to accelerate your learning.
Carv is a sensor you put on your boot and it measures your skiing on a variety of metrics. These metrics are summarised in a score – your Ski:IQ.
Many guests already have Carv, but we have some Carv units our guests can use for free during the camp.
Please note, that we have limited units, so if we dont have enough for everybody people will have to share.
Both your coaches are Carv nerds.
Janus (168 Ski:IQ) has created content with Carv and Jakob is currently at the absolute elite end of the global leader board with an impressive 176 Ski:IQ.

All trips are organised in collaboration with the travel agency Snowtravel. This makes sure everything regarding booking is handled professionally and your rights are secured in case of cancelled trips etc.
Inspirational Skiing is acting solely as a middleman and not as the responsible sales entity of the camps. It is Snowtravel ApS and not Inspirational Skiing that is responsible for delivering everything included in the camps – except for the ski instruction. Inspirational Skiing is responsible for the ski instruction on the camps. Inspirational Skiing only facilitates selling the camps. Snowtravel ApS is responsible for the agreement around the camps and is the entity you are making the deal with.
As a consequence of the above-mentioned Inspirational Skiing is in no way shape or form obligated to pay any form of compensation or replacement in case of any losses that may arise from any circumstance where the camps do not fulfill the customer expectations. The ski instruction is an exception, which is the sole responsibility of Inspirational Skiing.
Any reclamation- or complaint regarding the camps must be directed at Snowtravel ApS.
